Reality TV star Shannon Beador was arrested over the weekend in Newport Beach, California, for driving under the influence (DUI) and a hit-and-run incident. According to reports, Beador drove her car onto a residential property and clipped a house. She then left the scene and parked her car in the middle of the street before emerging with her dog. Police arrived after receiving a 911 call and found Beador appearing intoxicated. She was subsequently taken into custody.
The Newport Beach Police Department confirmed that Beador was booked for two misdemeanors: hit-and-run and DUI alcohol. Her car was seized as part of the ongoing investigation into the damage caused to the home. It was also reported that Beador was not filming new episodes of the Bravo reality series she has been a cast member of since 2014. The show’s reunion has already been filmed, and the cameras are not expected to resume filming for several months.
In recent episodes of the show, Beador has been focused on repairing her friendship with Tamra Judge and exploring her relationship with boyfriend John Janssen. However, Beador has tried to keep her relationship with Janssen away from the reality TV cameras. The numbers for the show have not been meeting expectations.
