Police Seek Public’s Aid to Identify Woman with Unique Tattoos Found Dead in Grand Junction

Authorities in Grand Junction, Colorado, are seeking assistance in identifying a woman found deceased on the streets last week. The middle-aged woman’s body was discovered either late on October 24 or in the early hours of October 25 near North 14th Street and Gunnison Avenue. Notable for her unique tattoos, including lunar phases with the number ’18’ and the inscription “Self made By my Imperfections,” officials are urging anyone with information to come forward.

A passerby, who had no prior acquaintance with the woman, dialed 911 after she suddenly fell unconscious, possibly from a heart attack, and died shortly after. The Mesa County Coroner’s Office, awaiting autopsy and toxicology reports, described her as 5’4″ with blue eyes and grayish/blonde hair.

As investigators piece together her final moments, they hope the public will help them solve the mystery of her identity. Anyone with knowledge about the tattoos or the woman is asked to contact the Mesa County Coroner at 970-244-1898.
