Police in Queens, New York are currently searching for a man who allegedly assaulted a bus passenger wearing a turban and mask. The incident occurred on an MTA bus near 118th Street and Liberty Avenue on Sunday. According to the police, the suspect approached the 19-year-old passenger and made derogatory remarks about the turban and mask, stating, “We don’t wear that in this country and take that mask off.” The man then proceeded to punch the passenger, resulting in a small cut. Investigators have reported that the assailant also attempted to remove the passenger’s turban before fleeing the scene.
