A pizza delivery driver was shot on Saturday night during an attempted carjacking in the Cleveland Heights area of Oakland. The 28-year-old man, whose identity has not been disclosed, is currently in stable condition at a local hospital, receiving treatment for a facial wound sustained during the incident.
The shooting occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the 600 block of Alma Avenue, a primarily residential area near Oakland High School. According to authorities, the victim had just completed a delivery and was returning to his vehicle when he was confronted by three individuals who appeared to be attempting to steal his car.
