Person with Gunshot Wound Walks into San Jose Medical Center

A person with a gunshot wound entered Kaiser Permanente’s San Jose Medical Center on Thursday evening, according to officials. San Jose police confirmed that the victim, an adult man, had sustained at least one gunshot wound in an undisclosed part of his body. As of late Thursday, the victim’s condition was reported as stable.

In response to the situation, the San Jose Medical Center briefly implemented a lockdown procedure at approximately 5:45 p.m., which was lifted at 7 p.m. This precautionary measure is standard practice when a patient arrives at the facility with a gunshot wound.
