Corey Harrison, known for his role on the popular History Channel show “Pawn Stars,” was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) in Las Vegas. Law enforcement sources report that Harrison was taken into custody early Friday morning around 1 AM.
According to Harrison, he had returned to Las Vegas from Minnesota late Thursday and was checking on some short-term rental properties he manages in the city. While driving, he was pulled over by a police officer who claimed he was swerving. Harrison stated that he had consumed one drink approximately seven hours earlier during his flight home.
The officer asked Harrison to perform a field sobriety test, which he agreed to. Harrison also requested to take a breathalyzer test, but he alleges that the officer informed him the device was broken. Subsequently, Harrison was handcuffed after allegedly failing the field sobriety test. He was then taken to a police station, where he claims another breathalyzer was not functioning.
Harrison claims that police informed him he would be held in custody for the entire weekend if he refused to take a blood test. He agreed to the blood test, and approximately eight hours later, he was released. Harrison states that his driver’s license was not suspended, and police offered him a ride home.
