Pasadena Jewelry Store Robbed of Over $500,000 Worth of Merchandise

A Pasadena jewelry store, Jewels on Lake, was targeted by three masked robbers on Tuesday, Aug. 29. The Pasadena Police Department responded to a robbery call at the store located at 415 S. Lake Avenue around 1:45 p.m.

According to Pasadena Police Lt. Monica Cuellar, while the store’s owner was escorting a patron out, three masked men entered the store and pepper-sprayed the owner and another employee. The robbers proceeded to break display cases and stole jewelry estimated to be worth over $500,000.

Both the owner and the employee received medical treatment at the scene. The suspects fled in a white vehicle of unknown make. As of now, no suspects have been apprehended, and the investigation is ongoing.
