Over 20 Arrested for Alleged Fraud Involving Pre-Settlement Company in Bibb County, Georgia

In a significant crackdown, authorities have apprehended more than 20 individuals linked to a scheme involving the theft of funds from Elite Pre-Settlement LLC, a pre-settlement company. Bibb County sheriff’s deputies initiated their investigation on October 13 after receiving reports from the company’s representatives about undisclosed funds being fraudulently siphoned from the organization.

The investigation revealed that Jennifer Croom Denton, 37, a former employee of the Ken Nugent Law Firm, orchestrated false settlement claims to receive checks from Elite Pre-Settlement LLC. Additionally, several other individuals were found to have engaged in similar fraudulent activities to acquire checks.
