Orthodox Jewish Man Stabbed Multiple Times Outside Rockland County Home

An Orthodox Jewish man was brutally stabbed multiple times outside his home in New City, Rockland County. The incident occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, as the victim, whose identity has not been disclosed by authorities, stepped out of his residence. According to reports from Hamodia, the assailant approached the victim and posed a question before launching a vicious knife attack. The victim sustained eight stab wounds to his arm and hand before the assailant fled the scene.

Prompt police response led to the apprehension of a suspect in the vicinity, with K9 units aiding in the search. However, witnesses informed the Monsey Scoop that the detained individual denied any involvement in the crime and did not exhibit any signs of blood on his hands or clothing. The Ramapo Police Department has yet to provide further details regarding the incident.

The victim was swiftly transported to Westchester Medical Center, where he underwent surgery for his injuries. Currently in recovery, he is expected to provide a statement to authorities once he is able. The investigation into this shocking act of violence is ongoing.
