A Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, has ordered the remand of Nigerian singer Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, and Lagos socialite Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry, in police custody for 21 days. The Lagos State Police Command requested the court to remand them for 30 days to complete their investigation into the death of Naira Marley’s former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Earlier on Wednesday, the police declared singer Owodunni Ibrahim, aka Primeboy, wanted and offered a reward of N1 million for information leading to his arrest. Ibrahim is being sought for his failure to comply with police invitations related to the death of Mohbad. The command spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, described Ibrahim as a male of approximately 1.64 meters tall, with a dark complexion and Yoruba tribal marks.
The Lagos State Police Command had previously disclosed that Naira Marley was taken into custody for questioning regarding Mohbad’s death. The investigation is ongoing, and further details have not been released at this time.
