Multiple people were shot during the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory parade in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred near West Pershing and Kessler roads, west of Union Station, where crowds had gathered to celebrate the team’s historic win.
At the conclusion of the rally, shots were fired, causing panic and chaos among the attendees. Police sources have confirmed that several individuals were injured and have been transported to local hospitals, with at least one person reported to be in critical condition.
Law enforcement authorities have detained two armed individuals for further investigation. As a precautionary measure, police are working to clear Union Station and will release everyone inside once the area is secure. Parade-goers have been instructed to leave the vicinity as quickly and safely as possible, avoiding the Union Station parking garage.
