A 55-year-old middle school teacher in Middlesex County has been arrested for possessing child pornography. Julius Coaccioli, a science teacher at Woodrow Wilson Middle School in Edison, was charged with third-degree possession of child pornography, involving less than 1,000 images.
The arrest came after the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office received a cyber tip from the State Police, prompting an investigation by their Internet Crimes Against Children Unit and Special Victims Unit.
Coaccioli was taken into custody without incident at his residence in Woodbridge on Wednesday. The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office has urged anyone with potential information related to the case to contact them at 732-745-3140.
