A man was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver on a Bronx MTA bus on Monday afternoon, following a dispute over drumming. The incident occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. at the intersection of East Fordham Road and Marion Avenue in Fordham Heights.
According to authorities and law enforcement sources, the victim, a 60-year-old man, was tapping on his own legs while riding the bus. This seemingly innocuous act, however, provoked another passenger’s anger. Without any warning, the enraged individual stabbed the victim in the head with a screwdriver.
The injured man was promptly transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he is currently in stable condition, as confirmed by the police. At present, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
