DeAngelo Wright, the man accused of brutally attacking an Oklahoma City Police officer, appeared before a judge on Wednesday morning. During his arraignment, Wright pleaded not guilty, according to new court records.
The incident occurred in late April when Sgt. Morgan Reynolds responded to a domestic call in northwest Oklahoma City. Body camera footage shows Wright blindsiding Reynolds and throwing punches moments after she began questioning him.
As a result of the attack, Reynolds was beaten unconscious and suffered multiple facial bone fractures. Wright is now facing three counts of assault and battery.
Currently, Wright remains in custody with a $10 million bond.
