Man Found Shot Dead in St. Paul, Police Investigating

St. Paul police are currently investigating the death of a man who was discovered shot near Sherburne Avenue and Mackubin Street North early Sunday.

Officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 400 block of Sherburne shortly before 2 a.m. Upon arrival, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the street. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity will be released by authorities once confirmed by the Ramsey County medical examiner’s office.

This incident marks the 24th homicide in St. Paul this year, according to the police.
