A man was fatally shot in San Francisco’s Bayview district on Monday, April 29, according to a report by the local police. The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. when officers responded to a shot-spotter activation in the area of Third Street and Quesada Avenue.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a male victim who had sustained gunshot wounds. Immediate emergency aid was provided by both officers and paramedics at the scene. The injured man was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
