Man Arrested in Connection with Millbrae Stabbing

A 32-year-old man has been apprehended by authorities in Millbrae following a stabbing incident that occurred on Wednesday morning. The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office reported that the attack took place just before 10 a.m. in an alleyway behind 25 Hillcrest Blvd. The victim, a 54-year-old man, sustained severe injuries and was promptly transported to a local hospital. As of Wednesday afternoon, he remains in critical condition.

The suspect, identified as a resident of Millbrae, was located near the scene of the crime and subsequently taken into custody. He has been booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility on charges of attempted murder. Law enforcement officials have also recovered the weapon used in the assault, according to the sheriff’s office.

Authorities have determined that the victim and the suspect were acquainted with each other, suggesting that this incident is an isolated one and poses no further threat to the community.
