In a recent incident in Campbell, California, a man was arrested for a series of offenses, including threatening crime, vandalism, and violating domestic violence restraining orders. The incident took place in the 300 block of Llewellyn Avenue.
According to reports, the man was at a residence in violation of multiple served domestic violence restraining orders. He became agitated and engaged in a verbal argument with two victims when they refused to procure cigarettes or alcohol for him. During the altercation, he threatened to kill the victims, prompting them to leave the residence and contact the police.
Despite the victims’ departure, the man remained inside the residence and refused to leave. On September 10, a Ramey warrant was issued, leading to the man’s arrest outside the residence. It was later discovered that he had caused over $400 in damages to the property inside.
In another incident, multiple suspects entered a room in the 200 block of Herry Lane using a master key and stole approximately $3,000 worth of electronics.
Additionally, a man was observed walking northbound on Creekside and Campisi ways, carrying nunchucks. This incident led to a charge of possession of nunchucks.
A female victim in the 900 block of East Hamilton Avenue was slapped in the face by a male, whom she believed was following her.
In the 600 block of Buddlawn Way, someone broke into a Ford work van overnight and stole several tools.
A parking lot in the 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue was targeted by an individual who stole items worth approximately $1,500 from outside the front entrance.
A white 1999 Ford was reported stolen from the 100 block of East Rincon Avenue.
In the 00 block of South San Tomas Aquino Road, a man entered a store and stole approximately $25 worth of clothing. The previous night, he had unlawfully entered the yard by climbing over the fence.
A robbery occurred in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue, where the suspect stole items, assaulted the victim, and brandished a screwdriver. The suspect was apprehended and found to be in possession of burglary tools, drug paraphernalia, narcotics, and under the influence of a controlled substance. The suspect had multiple active felony and misdemeanor warrants and was out on bail.
At the 1500 block of More Avenue, a 14-year-old student was cited and released to his parents after bringing two knives and a vape pen onto campus.
A dark green Specialized Stumpjumper bicycle was stolen from the bed of a truck in the 1600 block of South Bascom Avenue.
In the 200 block of Del Prado Drive, a residence was burglarized while the victim was out of town, resulting in the theft of an undisclosed amount of jewelry from the victim’s bedroom.
A man was stopped while leaving a store in the 2300 block of Winchester Boulevard after stealing a bottle of alcohol.
A suspect was observed driving on the wrong side of a divided road at Salmar and East Hamilton avenues. After failing to yield for approximately 1.1 miles, the driver was found to be under the influence of alcohol.
In a separate incident at East Campbell and South Bascom avenues, a woman and a man were stopped for a vehicle code violation. A search of their vehicle revealed a loaded Glock 21 handgun, marijuana packaged for sale, cash, a digital scale, a loose .45-caliber bullet, and a pepper spray canister.
A man was stopped for having an open alcoholic beverage in public in the 2300 block of Winchester Boulevard. He was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself.
In the 200 block of Union Avenue, a suspect threatened to send explicit photos of a victim to their social media contacts unless the victim sent $200 in gift cards.
A man was reported to be drunk in public, stumbling as he walked in the 300 block of Orchard City Drive. He displayed signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication and was unable to care for himself.
A man was arrested in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue after punching the victim in an unprovoked attack.
In the 1000 block of Florence Way, someone broke into a white utility van, disabled an owner-installed GPS device, and stole it.
Finally, in the 600 block of Virginia Avenue, a man made multiple threatening calls to 911, stating that he wanted officers to deliver drugs to him or he would kill everyone at the Campbell Police Department. He also threatened to blow up his neighbor’s house and kill her. The man was subsequently arrested.
