Major Drug Bust in San Jose Home Uncovers Marijuana, Cash, and Firearms

In a significant operation, the San Jose Police Department (SJPD) executed a search warrant at a residence in San Jose, uncovering a substantial quantity of marijuana, a significant amount of cash, and multiple firearms. The raid was conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into illegal marijuana sales, according to SJPD Chief Paul Joseph, who made the announcement on Tuesday via his X account.

During the operation, law enforcement officials seized a staggering 146 pounds of marijuana, along with a substantial sum of $104,000 in cash. Additionally, three pistols were confiscated from the premises. The exact location of the targeted residence remains undisclosed at this time.

While the SJPD did not disclose any information regarding arrests made during the drug bust, the investigation is likely to continue as authorities work to identify and apprehend individuals involved in the illegal marijuana trade. KRON4 reached out to the SJPD for further details on the operation but did not receive a response in time for this report.

The magnitude of the seizure highlights the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat the illicit drug trade within the San Jose community. The discovery of such a significant quantity of marijuana, coupled with the substantial amount of cash and firearms, underscores the potential dangers associated with illegal drug operations.

  1. Are you kidding me? It’s absolutely appalling that there are still people out there who think it’s okay to possess such large quantities of marijuana, cash, and firearms. This is a clear violation of the law and a threat to public safety. It’s disheartening to see that there are individuals who prioritize illegal activities over the well-being of their community. The fact that this operation was necessary is a sad reflection of the ongoing battle against drugs and crime. We need to do better as a society
