Long Island Woman Arrested for Stalking and Making Antisemitic Remarks at Victim’s Workplace

Catherine Scalia, a 57-year-old Long Island woman, was arrested by Nassau County Police in East Rockaway this week on charges of stalking and making antisemitic remarks towards a man at his workplace. According to the police report, Scalia has been accused of showing up at the victim’s job 10 to 15 times a day, harassing him, and repeatedly exposing her breasts to him. The victim, who is not Jewish but works for Jewish employers, expressed concern about his job security due to the antisemitic comments made by Scalia.

The police report did not disclose the exact nature of the antisemitic remarks. However, the victim stated that Scalia’s actions have caused him significant distress and affected his mental health. He also mentioned that Scalia has visited his residence on multiple occasions, further bothering him.

The man, who had previous interactions with Scalia during his employment as a UPS delivery driver, has filed numerous police reports against her in the past. He claimed to have repeatedly asked her to leave him alone for the past eight months.

Scalia gained notoriety in 2012 when she was arrested for operating a roadside hot dog stand where she was allegedly involved in prostitution. She was dubbed the “hot dog hooker” by local media. In that incident, an undercover police officer ordered food from her stand and was subsequently offered sexual services. Scalia was arrested and sentenced to seven days in prison for prostitution.

In 2016, Scalia made headlines again when she put up a sign in her front yard offering topless lap dances on a swing. Her previous arrests include a 2004 prostitution charge and another prostitution incident in 2005 when she responded to a police officer’s call for a masseuse at a motel.
