Keke Palmer Granted Restraining Order Against Former Boyfriend Following Allegations of Abuse

Keke Palmer

Keke Palmer has been granted a restraining order against her former boyfriend, Darius Jackson, after accusing him of two years of emotional and physical abuse. The Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Wendy L. Wilcox approved the temporary restraining order request, granting Palmer full custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis. Jackson is prohibited from having visitation rights, and a hearing for the case is scheduled for December 5.

Palmer presented screenshots from her home security system as evidence, which allegedly show Jackson strangling and body-slamming her. These images have caused outrage on social media, with many expressing support for Palmer and condemning Jackson’s alleged actions. Some users have even called for violence against Jackson.

It is concerning that Palmer had to provide visual evidence for people to recognize the problematic nature of Jackson’s behavior, particularly in light of the high prevalence of domestic violence in the country.
