A judge has ordered Rex Heuermann, the suspect in the Gilgo Beach murders, to submit a DNA sample. Heuermann’s attorneys attempted to block the move, arguing that there was insufficient probable cause linking him to a DNA sample found on a pizza box. However, court documents reveal that the judge determined there was enough probable cause to believe Heuermann committed the crime he is charged with. The timing for Heuermann’s submission of a cheek swab is currently unknown.
