Jenelle Evans’ son Jace has accused his stepfather, David Eason, of abuse, according to a police incident report obtained by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. Jace, who is 14 years old, reportedly called his grandmother, Barbara Evans, and informed her that he was “hiding” from Eason, claiming that he had been assaulted. This incident marks Jace’s third attempt at running away from home in the past two months.
Jenelle Evans, a former cast member of Teen Mom 2, reported her son missing on September 28 after he left their North Carolina residence through a window. She believed that Barbara was “hiding” Jace. The police report states that Barbara confirmed speaking to Jace, who alleged being assaulted by Eason and subsequently ran away.
Barbara, who had custody of Jace for most of his life until Jenelle was granted custody in March, was unable to pick him up due to ongoing legal and custody issues. Jace was eventually found on September 30 and taken to the hospital.
Jenelle Evans has not yet commented on the recent allegations made by her son. However, in a TikTok video, she expressed her desire for privacy and stated that Jace had been located and was safe.
It is worth noting that Eason has a history of violence, including an incident in 2019 where he shot and killed the family dog. He and Jenelle temporarily lost custody of their children following the incident but later reconciled.
