In a shocking turn of events, Lori Vallow Daybell, the Idaho mother at the center of a chilling murder case, has been handed down a life sentence without the possibility of parole. This comes three years after the discovery of the bodies of her two youngest children, Joshua “JJ” Vallow and Tylee Ryan, in a burial site found in the backyard of her husband’s rural Idaho property.

Lori Vallow Daybell was convicted in May on first-degree murder charges, along with two additional counts of conspiracy to commit murder. These charges implicated her in not only the deaths of her own children but also in the murder plot against her husband’s former wife. In a stunning revelation, she was also found guilty of grand theft for fraudulently continuing to receive Social Security benefits for her deceased children.

Chad Daybell, the fifth husband of Lori Vallow Daybell, is now facing his own set of charges. He stands accused in Idaho of conspiracy to murder and first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of his two step-children and his former wife, Tammy Daybell. Tammy’s passing in 2019 was deemed suspicious, occurring just before Chad Daybell remarried. The bodies of the missing children were eventually discovered on the couple’s property in June 2020.

Prosecutors have revealed disturbing details pointing to the couple’s “cult-like” religious beliefs as the motive behind the killings. It is alleged that the couple orchestrated the murders to gain access to Social Security and insurance funds. These shocking revelations have left the community stunned and grappling with the horrors uncovered in this case.

Lori Vallow Daybell also faces conspiracy charges in Arizona. She has been indicted on conspiring to murder her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, who was tragically shot and killed by her own brother in 2019. Charles had filed for divorce months before his untimely death, citing Lori’s belief that she was a deity and threats to his life. Lori’s brother, Alexander Cox, who claimed self-defense in the shooting, passed away the same year without facing charges.

In a separate indictment, Vallow Daybell is accused of conspiring to murder her niece’s ex-husband, Brandon Boudreaux. Boudreaux miraculously survived a shooting in 2019, which investigators connect to the alleged involvement of Lori Vallow Daybell and Alexander Cox.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in Arizona has requested Vallow Daybell’s extradition for prosecution. However, the process is expected to take several weeks to several months, as she is currently in custody in Idaho.

The chilling case of Lori Vallow Daybell continues to captivate the nation, shedding light on a disturbing web of alleged crimes and sinister intentions. As the trial of Chad Daybell looms, the residents of Eastern Idaho and Arizona grapple with the unimaginable depths of darkness that have been revealed.
