Bay Village police are investigating a distraction burglary that occurred on North Lincoln Road. According to authorities, the incident took place on Monday, September 4th, when a homeowner was tricked by men pretending to be contractors. The thieves gained entry through the woman’s front door and were able to steal thousands of dollars worth of jewelry.
Police are focusing on a white truck seen in the area on the day of the incident. They are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
