Hollywood Agent’s Son Attempted to Pay Workers to Dispose of Body Parts

Samuel Haskell, 35, the son of a prominent Hollywood agent, was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) on November 8, following a disturbing discovery involving body parts. According to an LAPD news release, Haskell is linked to an “unidentified female torso” found in a dumpster on Ventura Boulevard and Rubio Avenue. Additionally, Haskell’s wife, Mei Li Haskell, and her parents, Gaoshan Li and Yanxiang Wang, have been reported missing. The LAPD is also searching for two vehicles: a white VW Tiguan and a white 2014 Nissan Pathfinder.

A group of day laborers reported to NBC Los Angeles that Haskell hired them on November 7, claiming the task involved moving bags of rocks. However, upon examining the contents, they discovered human body parts. “I started seeing body parts, a belly button,” one laborer recounted. Shocked by the discovery, they returned the bags and the $500 payment to Haskell’s home, left the property, and attempted to report the incident to the LAPD, but were advised to call 911 instead.

Samuel Haskell is identified as the son of Sam Haskell III, a former executive Vice President of the William Morris Agency, who has represented celebrities like Kathie Lee Gifford, Ray Romano, Whoopi Goldberg, Dolly Parton, and George Clooney. However, Sam Haskell III’s current company, Magnolia Hill Productions, has not responded to media inquiries.

Samuel Haskell, who shares three children with Mei Li Haskell, is currently being held on a $2 million bail. He is scheduled for a court appearance on Monday. The status of legal representation for Haskell remains unclear at this time.
