Hollister Man Arrested for Robbing Pharmacies in Morgan Hill

A 44-year-old Hollister man has been apprehended by the Morgan Hill Police Department for allegedly robbing two pharmacies in the city. The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, is accused of carrying out the robberies on December 30 at a Rite-Aid located at 16000 Monterey Road and on February 7 at a CVS situated at 16995 Walnut Grove Drive.

During both incidents, the suspect reportedly threatened the victims by claiming he possessed a firearm and demanded prescription medications. The exact type and quantity of drugs stolen have not been revealed by the authorities. However, it is known that the suspect successfully made off with the medications.

Following an extensive investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect and establish connections to similar robberies in other cities. On Monday, law enforcement officials arrested the individual, who is now in custody at the Santa Clara County Main Jail. The suspect has been charged with robbery.
