A high-speed pursuit took place on the 710 Freeway in Los Angeles County, California. The pursuit began in Anaheim and continued southbound on the 5 Freeway before the driver exited at Jamboree and headed northbound on the 5 Freeway. The driver then transitioned onto the 91 Freeway westbound and subsequently changed direction to the northbound 710 Freeway.
The pursuit reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour, with the driver weaving in and out of traffic. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) took over the pursuit from an unknown agency and has been actively pursuing the vehicle. The driver displayed reckless driving behavior and exceeded the speed limit throughout the pursuit.
As the pursuit continued on the 710 Freeway, the driver approached the Linwood area, passing through Compton and Paramount. Traffic on the freeway appeared to be heavier, but the driver continued to navigate through the lanes at high speeds.
The driver, who appeared to be alone in the vehicle, was observed wearing a white shirt. The front passenger seat was empty.
