Officers in the East Bay are currently searching for the individuals involved in a high-speed chase that originated in San Francisco. The driver of a white Infinity sedan abandoned the vehicle near Booker T Anderson East Shore Park in Richmond. The chase began on city streets in San Francisco, continued over the Bay Bridge, and proceeded eastbound on Interstate 80 before transitioning onto surface streets in Emeryville and Berkeley.
During the pursuit, the suspect’s vehicle sideswiped several other vehicles in both San Francisco and on the freeway. The reasons behind the officers’ pursuit of the car are currently unknown.
