The 32-year-old, who spent over eight years in prison for her role in the crime, expressed her excitement about this new chapter in her life.
Blanchard revealed that she had been warned by a doctor about potential fertility issues, making the news of her pregnancy even more surprising. Despite initial nervousness, she now feels excited about becoming a mother. However, she also mentioned experiencing intense mood swings.
The interview shed light on Blanchard’s life since her release from prison on December 28, 2023. A Lifetime docuseries titled “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup” documented her journey over the past six months. During this time, she underwent cosmetic surgeries, including fixing her teeth and getting a nose job. She also filed for divorce from Ryan Anderson, her former husband, and has been living with her father, Rod, and stepmother, Kristy. Additionally, Blanchard has rekindled her relationship with her former fiancé, Ken Urker, who she confirmed is the father of her unborn child.
Blanchard emphasized that her main focus now is on her pregnancy and ensuring her own health for the sake of her baby. She acknowledged the skepticism surrounding her ability to be a mother due to her troubled past but expressed her determination to provide her child with the love and care she never received.
