Gun-Toting Crooks and Female Accomplice Wanted in Series of High-End Muggings Outside New York City Restaurants

New surveillance images released by the NYPD have revealed a pair of armed criminals, along with their female accomplice, who are wanted in connection with a string of high-end muggings outside upscale restaurants in New York City. The thieves managed to amass over $300,000 in stolen goods, according to police reports.

The photographs depict one of the suspected robbers holding hands with a brunette woman wearing a black bra top and shorts, who is believed to have acted as a lookout during some of the heists. Another image shows a similar-looking woman in a white T-shirt and jeans, although the NYPD has yet to confirm if she is the same person.

The most recent incident occurred on June 26 at approximately 7:45 p.m. in Greenwich Village. One of the criminals brandished a firearm and targeted a Canadian tourist, pointing the gun at his head before snatching his $40,000 Rolex watch and an 18K gold bracelet valued at $2,000. The thief then rendezvoused with an accomplice riding a moped in the middle of the street, and they made their escape together.

The duo employed a moped as their getaway vehicle in several of the other six heists, which date back to March. No injuries have been reported in any of these high-end crimes.

The most lucrative haul occurred on June 18 outside the popular Greenwich Village establishment Carbone, where the pair allegedly stole a man’s $100,000 Patek Philippe timepiece. The criminals approached a 39-year-old man in front of the restaurant, with one of them brandishing a black gun before swiftly snatching the luxury watch.

On June 21, the audacious thieves stormed into the Williamsburg Chinese hotspot Birds of a Feather, armed with a gun. They demanded a $200 Seiko watch and phones from three male diners, aged 27 and 28, before fleeing on a moped with the victims’ iPhones, each worth $1,000.

The armed duo has also been linked to a $40,000 heist outside Marlow & Sons in Williamsburg on May 31. Two men, aged 40 and 38, were dining when the criminals forcibly took their watches, valued at $35,000 and $5,000, before making their escape on a moped.

In a terrifying incident on May 24, the pair targeted three men dining at an establishment in SoHo. One of the criminals put the oldest victim, aged 37, in a chokehold, while the other brandished a silver gun and stole the victims’ watches, valued at $40,000, $35,000, and $8,500.

The earliest theft occurred on March 27, when the moped-riding criminals held up a 33-year-old man on the Avenue of the Americas in the South Village. They brandished a silver gun, snatched the victim’s watch worth approximately $65,000, and swiftly fled the scene.
