Two Georgia teachers, Railey Greeson and Brooklyn Shuler, have been arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual relationships with three male high school students. Prior to their arrest, parents of students at the small-town high school claim that Greeson and Shuler were known for their flirtatious behavior and reputation for being “boy-crazy.”
According to Audrey Decker, whose stepdaughter attends the school, the teachers’ behavior was evident to everyone. Decker stated, “You could look at them and tell they were trouble. They just seemed boy-crazy. And everyone in the school knew it and joked about it.” Another parent, who requested anonymity, described Greeson and Shuler as shameless flirts, particularly with attractive parents who visited the school.
The friendship between Greeson and Shuler dates back several years, with Greeson serving as Shuler’s maid of honor at her wedding in Tunnel Hill, Georgia, in November 2022. Shuler, however, appears to have split from her husband, as indicated by his social media posts showing him in a new relationship. Greeson, on the other hand, still appears to be married, according to her social media activity.
Both Greeson and Shuler were employed by the school district until their recent arrest. They now face charges for allegedly engaging in sexual contact with male high school students between October 2021 and January 2022. The indictment obtained by 11Alive reveals that Greeson had sexual relations with two different male students during that period, while Shuler is accused of engaging in a sexual relationship with a different male student.
Although the indictment does not specify the age of the students involved, the charges suggest that they may have been above the age of consent, which is 16 in Georgia. The indictment alleges that Greeson and Shuler “reasonably should have known” that the boys were enrolled in the school district, but it does not claim direct contact between the educators and the students.
