Georgia Mom’s Mugshot Goes Viral, Leading to Lucrative OnlyFans Career

A Georgia mother, Abbie Newman, has found unexpected financial success after her mugshot went viral on Instagram. Newman, 28, was arrested for shoplifting at a Walmart in Atlanta last November and spent four days behind bars. However, her attractive appearance caught the attention of Instagram account @mugshawtys, which features good-looking lawbreakers. This exposure led to a surge in online followers who discovered Newman’s OnlyFans account, resulting in a significant increase in her earnings.

In an interview with South West News Service, Newman expressed her excitement about the sudden influx of money. She revealed that upon logging back into her OnlyFans account, she had already made $24,000 in just one week, despite not having posted any new content. Reflecting on her situation, Newman remarked, “It’s funny how life works. In America, for some reason, if you look good and you’re a criminal, you make money.”

Newman’s troubled past includes a tumultuous childhood marked by sexual abuse, heroin addiction, and a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder. Seeking financial stability, she started an OnlyFans account in 2021, sharing explicit content with her fiancé, Haze Jenkins, 22. This venture allowed her to earn up to $5,000 per month, enabling her to cover rent and support her child.

In April 2023, Newman was arrested for the first time after being involved in a fight. However, she was released after spending six hours in a cell. Following a miscarriage and subsequent mental health struggles, Newman turned to heavy drinking. This ultimately led to her drunken shoplifting incident at Walmart in November, where she stole Christmas decorations, a coffee mug, and a blanket, resulting in her arrest and return to jail.

Despite the negative consequences of her actions, Newman now sees an opportunity for a fresh start. Thanks to her viral mugshot, she experienced a surge in income, with her best month in December bringing in a staggering $92,328. This windfall allowed her to pay off all her debts, including $46,000 from a previous car accident, and even plan vacations for her family. Additionally, modeling agencies have started reaching out to her, fueling her belief that this could be the beginning of a transformative journey.

Newman acknowledges the importance of not repeating her past mistakes, stating, “If I went back, I would never get arrested again, I know nothing good comes of that.” Grateful for the opportunities she has received, she considers herself fortunate to have been given multiple chances in life.
