Former NFL player Sergio Brown, who was reported missing along with his mother, has been located in Mexico City. Concerns arose when Sergio and his 73-year-old mother, Myrtle Brown, were reported missing by family members on September 16. Tragically, Myrtle’s body was discovered near a creek behind her home in Maywood on September 17. However, Sergio’s whereabouts remained unknown, causing distress among friends and family.
In a since-deleted Instagram post, Sergio Brown tagged his location as Mexico City, Mexico. He later posted a video on another Instagram account, accusing the FBI and Maywood Police of entering his home and claiming that his mother’s death was “fake news.” Brown’s brother, Nick, also took to Instagram to express concern for Sergio’s well-being and urged him to come home.
This morning, Sergio Brown, or someone posing as him, posted a video on Instagram stories from an account with the handle @intplayerwithapassport, seemingly mocking those who were worried about him.
