A food delivery driver was arrested in San Jose on Saturday for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor female while on the job. The incident took place at a motel in the 1000 Block of The Alameda. The suspect, a 21-year-old Sunnyvale resident, reportedly forced himself into a room during a delivery and committed the assault.
Following the incident, the suspect was apprehended later that day in Campbell. He was arrested on suspicion of assault with intent to commit a sex crime, sexual battery, and false imprisonment. The suspect was subsequently booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
