Federal Officials Raid Diddy’s Homes in Sex Trafficking Investigation

Federal officials executed search warrants at two of Diddy’s residences in Los Angeles and Miami on Monday as part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of sex trafficking. The case, which has been active for several weeks, involves concrete and explicit allegations against the 54-year-old rapper and mogul, according to an officer with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) who spoke on condition of anonymity.

The investigation was initiated following specific allegations made against Diddy, including those brought forward by his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, who filed a federal civil suit against him in November of last year. Although the case was settled out of court the following day, it was followed by three additional lawsuits alleging sexual assault, all of which Diddy vehemently denies. It is important to note that he has not been charged with any crime or wrongdoing at this stage.

The DHS officer emphasized that the search warrants were not obtained arbitrarily, but rather authorized by a federal judge. The raid resulted in the confiscation of hard drives, phones, and other potential evidence. Authorities are particularly interested in obtaining photos, emails, texts, itineraries, and any other communications that may shed light on the allegations.

The multi-agency investigation is being led by the US attorney’s office for the Southern District of New York, with Homeland Security investigators executing Monday’s search. Diddy’s attorney, Aaron Dyer, did not respond to requests for comment from The Post.

In addition to the search, authorities are actively interviewing alleged victims and witnesses, including three women and one man who have filed civil suits against Diddy. Sources indicate that these interviews have been thorough and detailed, with the alleged victims cooperating extensively. The DHS operative stated, “Once they start talking, they talk. They talk a lot. We are getting a lot of cooperation from a lot of people who want to see him brought to justice.”

Diddy, who was prevented from boarding a private jet on Monday, is believed to be in Florida. However, he remains a free man as he is currently under investigation and not under arrest. The law enforcement source made it clear that if charges are filed, they will apprehend him regardless of his location.
