FBI Investigates Gunman’s Actions Prior to Attempted Assassination of Former President Donald Trump

The FBI is intensifying its investigation into the actions of Thomas Crooks, the gunman responsible for the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump. Recent findings reveal that Crooks purchased 50 rounds of ammunition on the day of the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Despite extensive interviews with numerous individuals and thorough examination of Crooks’ phone and social media accounts, investigators have yet to determine a clear motive behind the attack.

The incident occurred during a time of heightened political division, further exacerbating the impact of the shooting. The distressing images of Sunday’s events have left many grappling with the psychological toll it has taken. In an effort to shed light on the mental health implications of this incident, Action News’ Alicia Vitarelli spoke with a psychologist on Tuesday. The video above provides further insight into the matter.
