In a doorbell camera footage, a shooting incident was captured involving two individuals amidst an ongoing property dispute. Eyewitnesses reported that the argument between the two men had been ongoing since 2016, with several property-related issues at the center.
On March 3, 2020, the footage showed 52-year-old Michael Hettle opening the front door and firing shots after the victim called on him to come out. Hettle later claimed self-defense, alleging that the victim had intended to harm him. However, the victim’s wife informed officers that Hettle had threatened to shoot her when she attempted to retrieve her husband’s body after the shooting.
