Cleveland County Deputy Laid to Rest Following Tragic Shooting Incident

Cleveland County Deputy Jordan Cannon was laid to rest today after being shot and killed by her husband, Deputy Vaughn Cannon, during a domestic disturbance. The incident occurred in the 10900 block of SW 30th St. in Cleveland County, Oklahoma, just before 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

Friends, family, and co-workers gathered at Crossroads Church in South Oklahoma City to remember Jordan Cannon. Sheriff Chris Amason expressed the community’s heartbreak over the loss, emphasizing Jordan’s significant contributions.

Jordan leaves behind a 17-year-old son and two stepchildren. Her husband, Vaughn Cannon, remains in custody on a first-degree murder complaint.
