California Police Officers Save Puppy Exposed to Fentanyl, Arrest Two for Narcotics Possession

California police officers from the Irvine Police Department rescued a puppy suffering from exposure to fentanyl during a narcotics possession arrest at a Walmart in Irvine. The officers apprehended two individuals for narcotics possession and subsequently searched their vehicle. Inside the car, they discovered the puppy displaying symptoms of an overdose. The officers promptly provided medical assistance to the distressed animal.

The Irvine Police Department has not released the names of the arrested individuals. The investigation into the narcotics possession case is ongoing. The puppy, now under the care of authorities, is receiving necessary treatment and is expected to recover.
