A Brooklyn man, Vladislav Deshkovich, is facing murder charges after allegedly stabbing his mother, Inna Deshkovich, to death. The incident occurred on Friday evening when the 30-year-old suspect reportedly stabbed his 52-year-old mother multiple times in the neck. Witnesses in the neighborhood reported hearing the victim’s screams before one neighbor went to check on her.
According to Mitchell Jakuboski, who knew the victim for several years, Deshkovich answered the door and admitted to hitting his mother in the head, claiming he needed to take her to the hospital. Police arrived at the scene and collected bags of evidence from the apartment. Deshkovich was taken into custody on Friday night and charged with murder by Saturday morning.
Neighbors described the victim as a quiet and hardworking woman who had been working towards obtaining her medical license in the United States. Deshkovich, on the other hand, was known for his interest in politics and had aspirations of running for office, as seen on his social media accounts.
