Bias-Motivated Vandalism Targets Pride Flags and Homes in Aurora

Aurora Police Department is actively seeking two individuals involved in a bias-motivated vandalism incident that occurred in Aurora, Colorado. The suspects were captured on home surveillance video tearing down Pride flags from two residences located near the 10000 block of East Seventh Avenue and 700 Galena Street on Saturday.

The incident, which is being investigated as a hate crime, also involved damage to a vehicle and a home. The suspects allegedly keyed and slashed the tires of the vehicle, and threw a rock through one of the home’s windows. The targeted homes were not specifically identified.

Authorities have not provided physical descriptions of the suspects at this time. However, they were last seen in the vicinity of 170 Fulton Street. The Aurora Police Department urges anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them at 303-627-3100.
