A pair of siblings, Joshua Crawford, 22, and Kelsey Crawford, 30, have been arrested in Atlanta, Georgia, after being captured on security footage during a drive-by shooting at a gas station. The incident occurred on Sunday, prompting a response from the Atlanta Police Department. Upon arrival, officers discovered a female victim with a gunshot wound who was subsequently taken to a hospital in critical condition.

Surveillance video footage shows a black pickup truck and a female standing outside the passenger side door. The female is seen pulling out a rifle and firing shots as the truck moves. A trooper from the Georgia State Patrol, who happened to be in the area, stopped the vehicle and detained the pair. Investigators found a rifle inside the vehicle and determined that Kelsey Crawford was the shooter, while her brother Joshua Crawford was the driver.

Authorities believe that the shooting was in response to an earlier incident on the same day, where the female victim had allegedly shot at and assaulted Kelsey Crawford. The Atlanta Police Department stated that this case highlights the escalation of disputes into violence and the potential benefits of intervention to prevent such incidents.

Kelsey Crawford is facing charges of aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Joshua Crawford is charged with aggravated assault and fleeing or attempting to elude police.
