Antioch Man Charged with Residential Burglary in Walnut Creek

An Antioch man, aged 34, has been charged with residential burglary in Walnut Creek, according to a press release by the Walnut Creek police. The suspect was apprehended by Walnut Creek police on July 30 after officers responded to a burglary report on the 1100 block of Flowerwood Place. The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office has filed two counts of burglary charges against the suspect in court. Currently, the accused remains in custody at the Martinez Detention Facility, with bail set at $250,000.

Authorities have also linked the suspect to a previous burglary in the 800 block of Bancroft Road. The Walnut Creek Police Department is urging the public to come forward with any information related to the case.   1. This is absolutely disgusting! It is infuriating to hear about yet another case of residential burglary. People work hard to create a safe and secure home for themselves and their families, only to have it violated by criminals like this Antioch man. It is a complete disregard for the sanctity of someone’s personal space and belongings. I hope the authorities throw the book at him and ensure that justice is served. This kind of behavior should not be tolerated in any society.
