On September 5, 2023, Robert Hoke Williams, an 84-year-old resident of Pinellas Park, was arrested by members of the Pinellas Park Police Department Digital Forensics Unit. Williams faces three counts of possession of child pornography. The arrest came after detectives received information in August 2023 that Williams had been uploading illegal child exploitative images to the internet.
A search warrant was executed at Williams’ residence located in the 8100 block of 61st Lane N in Pinellas Park. During the search, investigators discovered three child pornographic videos in Williams’ possession. It is important to note that Williams is a registered sex offender.
The Pinellas Park Police Department Digital Forensics Unit conducted the investigation leading to Williams’ arrest. The case will now proceed through the legal system, where Williams will face charges related to the possession of child pornography.
