Rapper 6ix9ine has reportedly been arrested in the Dominican Republic for alleged assault. Footage circulating online shows 6ix9ine and his associates arriving at a recording studio in the Dominican Republic, where they confronted producers. The rapper was reportedly upset that the producers had worked with his girlfriend, Yailin La Mas Viral. Security camera footage captured the group entering the studio and later running out, but the exact details of the incident remain unclear.
According to DJ Akademiks, 6ix9ine was attempting to board a private jet when authorities refused to let him leave the country. He was subsequently arrested for the alleged assault. Criminal lawyer Felix Humberto Portes Nuñez posted on Instagram suggesting that 6ix9ine will be transported to La Vega.
In addition to the recent arrest, 6ix9ine is also facing other legal troubles. SteveWillDoIt has accused the rapper of not fulfilling a contract he signed with video platform Rumble. SteveWillDoIt claims that 6ix9ine agreed to play video games once a week for an hour in exchange for $2 million, but instead spent the money on gifts for various women.
