A 52-year-old man, initially arrested for the kidnapping of Yanfei Bao, 44, who disappeared from Hornby, Christchurch, on July 19th, now faces an additional murder charge. Arrested days after her disappearance at Christchurch Airport, he’s set to appear in the High Court at Christchurch. Detective Inspector Nicola Reeves urges the public to provide information about a discarded tracksuit, top, and a newly purchased spade, believed to be related to the case. The police continue searching farmland in Greenpark and remain dedicated to finding Ms. Bao and returning her to her family.
