FREMONT — In a distressing turn of events, a 3-year-old girl from Fremont has been reported missing after her father was discovered deceased in a neighboring city. The Fremont Police Department has launched an urgent search for Ellie Lorenzo, who was last seen at the Casa Arroyo Apartments on 405 Rancho Arroyo Parkway around 6 p.m. on Thursday. The girl’s mother, following a custody agreement, expected the father to return Ellie on Friday night. However, she was devastated to learn that he had been found dead in a nearby city.

The mother promptly filed a missing person report with the police at approximately 12:25 p.m. on Friday. Authorities are now appealing to the community for assistance in locating Ellie and ensuring her safe return. A news release from the Fremont Police Department expressed condolences to the family and emphasized their commitment to finding the missing child.

Ellie Lorenzo is described as a 3-foot-tall, 60-pound Black girl with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact the Fremont Police Department at 510-790-6800.
