An 18-year-old female, identified as Johnson, was arrested at a residence in Victorville following a strong-arm robbery at Party City. The incident occurred on Friday, September 1, 2023, at approximately 1:15 pm, in the 12400 block of Amargosa Road in Victorville. According to sheriff’s officials, multiple witnesses reported seeing Johnson and a female juvenile attempting to leave the store without paying for approximately $200 worth of merchandise.
Store employees tried to stop the suspects, but they were pushed and had objects thrown at them. The suspects managed to flee the scene with the stolen merchandise. During the investigation, deputies identified Johnson and located her at a residence in Victorville. The stolen property from Party City, valued at $200, was recovered, along with additional stolen property from other department stores worth approximately $2,000.
Johnson was arrested for PC-211 Robbery and PC-496(a) Possession of Stolen Property. Authorities are still working to identify the juvenile involved in the incident.
