A 15-year-old boy was assaulted by a group of teenagers aboard a Bronx bus, according to the police. The incident occurred at 10 p.m. on August 2 on the Bx36 near Southern Blvd. and E. 176th St.
The victim was repeatedly punched and kicked before the suspects exited the bus and fled into Crotona Park. The teenager was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital in serious but stable condition. The attackers, including two teenage girls, are currently being sought by authorities. This assault is part of a concerning trend that has been ongoing for over a year, with teenagers often targeted.
